A 17th century villa situated in a large private park of 2 hectares of manicured gardens and extensive lawns. The 4 units, which share use of a beautiful pool (13x6) with a bar and barbecue, comprise the top floor of the villa, ' Il Palazzo', a large renovated farmhouse in the park 'Casa di Scoccia', two identical apartments on the top floor of a converted barn ' Casa di Puppola' and ' Casa di Romani'. As of December 2006 Ryanair will be flying into Perugia S. Egidio airport - this is only 15 Km from Bagnaia.
This spacious apartment is situated on the top floor of the villa and is tastefully furnished with period furniture. Independent entrance via panelled staircase to large living room, large kitchen with dining area, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath, 1 bathroom with bath. Bagnaia is a tiny village in the open countryside about midway between Perugia and the Lake Trasimeno on the road to Città della Pieve. It is about a 10 minute drive from the Ellera/Corciano exit on the Valdichiano/Perugia superstrada coming from Firenze, or 15 minutes from the Torgiano/S.Martino C. exit (Km 63)on the Orte/Perugia/Cesena superstrada. The nearest village of any size which you will find on a map is Castel del Piano, which is 1 Km from Bagnaia. Ryanair will be flying into Perugia S. Egidio airport as of 20th December 2006. This is a mere 15 Km from Bagnaia.
The Villa is a typical Tuscan villa that stands alone in a huge park, with a great view over the Arno Valley. Large doors open directly into the garden. A private terrace with great views offers the possibility for an outdoor dinner.
The Villa is skillfully restructured in every detail. It is furnished with antique Tuscan pieces and has a very private atmosphere. The Villa belongs to an art collector from Rome and many pieces of his collection are shown in the house.
The Villa is ideal for groups and families and for birthday and wedding ceremonies. A golf course at Poppi, tennis, a lake and horse riding facilities are only 2 miles away. The private park offers about 30,000 square meters of meadows and ancient trees. The park is fenced and there is a private road which leads to the property; nobody will disturb your privacy.
The Villa is perfectly located in order to discover the hidden parts of Tuscany and the famous cities of art and culture, either by car or with public transport. The large pool 8x 16 meters is locate in a panoramic position, 50 meters from the house.
The closest village is one mile away. The buses to Florence and Arezzo (each 25 miles away) leave every hour. Several nice restaurants, shops and food stores are close by. There is also professional Sauna with chromoterapy, music-teraphy and biosauna with aromatic oil. There is also Internet no-stop ADSL.
There is a large double door that open up to the barbeque area, and where are a table and a beach umbrella. A private garden place and a terrace with barbeque, tables, sun chairs and umbrellas are inviting you.

The villa was constructed around the middle 1800’s by a Baron of a noble Perugian family.
It was the family’s country house, one of many they owned in the area of Bettona, a small town of etruscan origins situated amongst green hills of olive trees and woods at very short distance from Perugia and Assisi.
After a brief period of abandonment, in 2003 the heirs renovated carefully, respecting the original plan of their ancestors and paying especial attention to the frescoes in the sitting room, the upper hall and the bedrooms.

On the 1st floor we have a 90mq apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spacious commune kitchen, fire-place, washing-machine, television, big garden, terrace etc, the other 2 bedrooms are en suite.
